Passports & visas

The transportation between Varna airport and Golden Sands Conference Hotel is very important and care will be taken for secure arrival / departure of all foreign conference participants as at the previous conferences.

Special support by the organisers is always needed and will be provided for those participants, who will need visas.

Hereafter follow several important considerations to all of you who have applied to participate in the subject Conference:

Those of you who need visa to enter the Republic of Bulgaria, are kindly requested to send us as soon as possible a scanned colour copy (PDF, JPG file) of the two passport pages (as one page), where your photo and your personal and passport validity data are placed. We will need a couple of days to prepare the official personal invitation for you, necessary for your visa application in the nearest to you Consular Department of Bulgaria. We will send you also a scanned copy of this invitation by e-mail which you may use immediately to apply for visa. The original invitation will be sent to you by air mail to the postal address you prefer and give us. This may take one to two weeks or more, which is not dependent on us. After receiving the original invitation, you will add it to your application documents in the Consular Department of Bulgaria.

An important remark - the validity of your passport must be at least until middle of March 2014.

Another remark: if you already have a Shengen visa valid at least until the middle of March 2014, and thus you don't need the conventional visa to enter Bulgaria, it would be also better if you have an invitation to the Conference with your passport data for entering the state border of Bulgaria and for answering the question about the purpose of your visit.
