QFT семинар на 4.12.2014

На 4 декември 2014 г. от 13:15 часа в зала 300 на ИЯИЯЕ на редовната сбирка на Работния Семинар по Квантова Теория на Полето Деница Стайкова ще изнесе доклад на тема:

"Компактни невъртящи се звезди в минимална дилатонна гравитация"

Анотация:

The minimal dilatonic gravity (MDG) is a theory, which is locally equivalent to the f(R) theories of gravity and gives an alternative description of the effects of dark matter and dark energy. As a first step to check whether MDG allows for the existence of stable star configurations, we study the case of the relativistic static spherically symmetric stars (SSSS) in MDG. For this, we derive the equations governing the two physical domains and we solve them numerically for the simplest forms of the relativistic equation of state (EOS) of neutron matter and white dwarfs. We discuss how the existence of the dilatonic field changes the structure of the compact stars and creates a specific dilatonic sphere around them.
